Ford could not do anything with either of them, and then she decided to leave the scene for 10 years. In 1988, Ford returned to the limelight with her smash album "Lita". The album was an instant hit for both the song 'Kiss Me Deadly,' as well as the ballad 'Close My eyes forever. However, her success didn't last long, as she disappeared for several years. Her return came after the release of her album 'Black' in 1995, and 'Wicked Wonderland' almost fifteen years after. Her latest album was released in 2016 called 'Time Capsule. She was awarded The Certified Guitar Legend Award from the Guitar Player Magazine.
