Chando is currently living with her family in New York City. Chando attended Manhattan College prior to becoming an actor. Chando was the original Maddie Coleman of the television soap show As World Changes. The role she played was from 2005 until 2007 and then again, for several months after the show's end in 2009. Alexandra first made her debut acting in 2002, as she was cast as Jenna Harper on the TV series House Blend. After three years she played on the American soap opera for television which was telecast in CBS, As the World Turns in the role of Maddie Coleman. Chando was a part of the American documentaries True life and Sherri in 2009, and played Maddie Coleman in the series As the World turns. The actress was featured in two episodes Glory Daze (an American comedy-drama series) in the role of Annabelle. Her TV credits also include Castle and Hindsight.
